My Dear Family and Friends,
“Rejoice in the Lord always!” I have been looking forward to the celebration of my 25th Jubilee, with joyful anticipation of seeing many family members and dear friends of our community.
Given the present situation with the Coronavirus, we need to postpone Jubilee celebration scheduled for March 21st.
The day after I heard the news that the Jubilee was being postponed, I had the opportunity to make a quiet Day of Prayer. It was good and blessed to rest in the loving gaze of our Lord. During Lent, Preface 2 of the Liturgy of the Eucharist has given me great courage and consolation: “…(that I) may so deal with the things of this passing world as to hold rather to the things that eternally endure”.
Let us continue to pray for each other! Let us ask the intercession of Our Lady and to Saint Joseph for our Church and our world.
