Our union with God in prayer is a gift and a privilege we treasure. We make daily personal and communal prayer our priority by designating a considerable amount of time for it. Our union with God through contemplation penetrates our apostolic activities. To be an apostle is to be a messenger, and we cannot deliver a message unless we have first received it. Contemplation united to apostolic love helps us to share in Christ’s redemptive work and to spread the kingdom.
Blessed Virgin Mary, you are the Mother of Jesus and our Mother. You have a special place in our hearts. Mary, teach us by your life to say, YES to God continually. With a mother’s tender heart, you are moved by our needs. Please guide us in our pilgrimage toward the heavenly Kingdom. We implore you to protect our Community from unnecessary pain and suffering, as you helped those in Cana. We give you thanks for your daily motherly guidance and protection. Amen.
