Sacred Heart Novena Day 5

Pray with us Day 5 of the Sacred Heart Novena in preparation for the Consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Make this Holy Communion, a Holy Communion of thanksgiving – to our Blessed Mother, to our Lord, to His Sacred Heart. His miracles in this life seem to be so simple, so easy, almost “natural” and without effort. One of His miracles is that we exist the way we do. For His great goodness and kindness and miraculous help we should give thanks. Nothing is so horrible to God as an ungrateful heart. Realize that it is His gift, a tremendous privilege! Be deeply grateful to Him. Give Him thanks in this Holy Communion.

I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart;
before the angels I sing your praise;
I bow down toward your holy temple
